Dr. Stefan Drobnik

holds a degree in chemistry from the Eberhard Karls University Tuebingen in Germany, and also gained a PhD after successfully completing his post-graduate studies at the Ludwig Maximilians University Munich and Eberhard Karls University Tuebingen.

He spent several years working as the technical manager of a small chemical company which produced industrial detergent and care products. This was followed by a position as a product manager for the work safety and environment protection division of two leading German specialist publishers.

Since 2004, Dr Stefan Drobnik has been the head manager of the central chemical storage facility at Eberhard Karls University, Tuebingen, und is responsible not only for supplying chemicals for the institutes and the operational units of the University, but also for hazardous waste disposal. Besides his tasks as waste manager, he is also the distribution safety officer for the university.

Besides his full-time professional activities, Dr Drobnik is a frequent speaker for renowned seminar and course organisers, particularly on topics such as the classification, identification, handling, storage and transport of chemicals and chemical products.
